About Us

The Alpharetta Rotary Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established in 2020. Affectionately called AlphaRoFo, it is the philanthropic partner of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta. Our mission is to make a significant impact on important causes locally and around the world by providing leadership and addressing community needs.

Our long-term goal when starting AlphaRoFo was to harness the generosity of our members and others in the community so that the club could do more projects, support more organizations, and provide more leadership in addressing community needs. To do this, we aim to:

• Build an Endowment Fund that would be invested, and the earnings be allocated back to club philanthropic priorities and projects.
• Encourage community members to give tax deductible donations to impact community needs through our Annual Fund. 96% of these donations go directly to support projects selected by the Rotary Club of Alpharetta within 18 months.

Donations to AlphaRoFo are tax deductible, and currently, members each donate $100 annually through their dues. Donors can designate their gift to the endowment or to the annual fund.

IMPACT OF OUR DONORS’ GENEROSITY

During the 2023-24 Rotary year, AlphaRoFo was able to grant $12,731 from our endowment and $20,861 from our annual fund to projects and grants to benefit our community. During the 2024-25 Rotary year, those figures have grown, and AlphaRoFo is the biggest single funder of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta projects!

Additionally, our 501c3 status allows members and community supporters alike to donate to club projects and receive a tax deduction as allowed by law. Last year, an additional $51,477 was raised to provide grants in our community. As we continue to grow both our Annual Fund and our Endowment, we will increase our ability to do more good, give more grants, and improve our community in future years.
